PacSun USASA Team member Mick Dierdorff takes the floor and tells us a little about his summer and plans for 2010...
"What’s up everybody, this is Mick. After an amazing season last year that ended with a Nor-Am Champion title, I began to plan this year way differently than I had expected. With the Nor-Am title, I have the opportunity to compete in every World Cup and Olympic qualifier.
I was so excited to get the chance to compete at the top level Boardercross races that I decided I would focus all of my time on the upcoming season instead of attending Colorado University at Boulder which I will plan on doing next summer.
I started off this summer with hard workouts at Mt. Hood. The camp was a great training opportunity but it ended early for me when I dislocated my elbow on a hip jump. The injury definitely set me back on training and I was so bummed that I wasn’t able to attend the Pacsun USASA Team camp at Woodward.
My elbow healed quickly and soon I was back to training for the first World Cup in Chapelco, Argentina..."
Stay tuned for more from Mick.
