With Halloween just a few days away, there's no shortage of themed apps for your iPhone. Ghost Writer let's you write spooky messages on your photos and save and send the pics. You can choose an automated message, like Trick or Treat, or write your own.

The app doesn't have too many features, so I'm still trying to figure out why I spent 99 cents on it. It's an extremely simple app, but you could have some fun with it at your Halloween celebrations. One downside to Ghost Writer is you have to write on a photo right after you take it. I wish it would allow you to us a photo from your camera roll to write on. I guess that photo I took of my friend's cat dressed like a vampire will have to go without some spooky writing... or at least until I find a different app that will let me do it!

Save your money on this one and go buy a candy bar.
