Awhile back on Earth Day I did a post on bands that were making a difference to our planet. Well since then I found a company who, believe it or not, is donating 10% of their profits from music downloads to eco-friendly charities. The site is called Get Green Music.

Get Green Music combines music downloads, social networking and also functions as an online news publication. The entire purpose is to educate, entertain and promote eco-friendly living in a fun and mainstream way and you can get your hands on over 6 million tracks.

Their social network takes it all a step further by providing fun, eco-friendly education and entertainment. You can create profiles, make friends, post pictures and videos, share eco-friendly tips, post on friends’ walls, send messages to users and create fun and exciting blogs. On top of all that there is a Green Gossip section of the social network to post articles about the latest in entertainment, music, fashion and celebrity news related to Green Living...pretty cool.
