Wii Sports Resort and MotionPlus Dates Confirmed

It's official. Nintendo announced today the release dates for Wii Sports Resort and the MotionPlus remote accessory that were rumored to be hitting US stores this summer.

Wii Sports Resort, the beach-themed sequel to Wii Sports, will launch on July 26, and will bundled with MotionPlus for about $50.

If you don't want to wait until July for MotionPlus, you can pick it up on June 8 for $20. The device attaches to the nunchuck to experience better motion control.

I'm anxious to see how well MotionPlus works and if Sports Resort can live up to the hype of the original Wii Sports.
